Ms Pearsall was called to East Surrey Hospital late on a Saturday evening to relieve the pressure in my mum’s eye She arrived very quickly and we were immediately reassured by her sense of professionalism and confidence The procedure was a success and Ms Pearsall gave us a lot of time (even though it was her Saturday evening!) to explain about the condition and even took charge of my mums upcoming cataract surgery Amazing thank you

I saw Ms Pearsall for shingles in my eye. She has treated this brilliantly but also sent me for a blood test where I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid. I honestly cannot thank her enough . She is the eye specialist to go to

This young lady is amazing with her people patient skills and would totally put you at ease regarding her doing any procedure , but of course it’s the actual procedure on the day and aftercare that counts , and I have now had my operation and I can honestly say I am blown away with her no nonsense approach, totally professional and my sight even after 2 days and cataracts removed on both eyes AT THE SAME TIME , is fabulous. I have had many appointments in eye clinics over many years, and NEVER have I experienced an appointment as the one I recently had with Ms Pearsall at the East Surrey Hospital’s eye clinic. She greeted me with a warm and happy smile, listened to my concerns, and fully explained to me - in terms I understood - my diagnosis and consequent eye problems. She answered my questions thoroughly and honestly, and I feel enormously fortunate and privileged to have her as my consultant moving forward; she is an absolute breath of fresh air! It seems a very funny thing to say, but I really enjoyed my appointment with her, and was left feeling extremely reassured and confident in her abilities. She demonstrated great knowledge and warmth. I found Tamhina the most personable, caring and professional doctor. Of course I was nervous, who wouldn’t be, but she put me at ease with her calm chatty manner. I had one Intra Ocular Lens replacement for reading. I am delighted with the results and will be in contact as soon as I need to have the other eye treated for driving.
